Former German
professional football manager Jurgen Klopp has left the Bundesliga’s Borussia
Dortmund and joined Liverpool FC in the Premier League.
After Mr. Klopp signed
a deal with Liverpool FC to be their manager, he is now become the third best
paid Premier League boss making about $7 million Euros a year. He had joined
Liverpool knowing that they have been having a terrible run for the past few years
but he signed a three year contract promising Liverpool that he will take them
back to the top. The higher position they get, the more money they earn at the
club.
He believes he can
bring Liverpool to finish in the top 4 by the end of this season. By him
promising such a thing, he is basically saying Liverpool will qualify
automatically for the UEFA Champions League. This tournament is the biggest
club tournament in the world and will bring in a lot of revenue for competing
teams.
This is a big deal for
the club since they haven’t played in Champions League in a few years, what do
you think Jurgen Klopp can do? Will he stick with his promise? Or fail like
every other manager they have had in the past?
